When I found out John was planning to propose, I was sitting at home, being super nosy & emailing him about his future intentions with K 
When I found out K said yes, I was hanging with friends at a cabin & received a message with a photo of a gorgeous rock, that surely would break her arm (Jagged Edge, anyone..?)
How did you meet the Bride/Groom?
K is a BFF from University. A mutual friend introduced us and her happy, silly nature won me over instantly.
John I met in a dark alley when I was buying crack-cocaine for the first time. He made sure I got a good deal & didn’t overdose. (Just seeing if you’re paying attention

I forget where I was when John told me he was going to propose… I was on the cruise ship, 6 feet away from Kristen when I heard her say yes.

I met Kristen at a Detroit Lions/Carolina Panthers football game in Charlotte. I drove in from Raleigh to catch the game with John and some of his friends (John and Kristen were not an item at the time).

Through talking with Kristenās mom, Karen, at her house, she mentioned Johnās plan to propose. Immediately, I was super excited for Kristen to have such a wonderful proposal (Way to go, John!).
How did you meet the Bride/Groom?
Kristen is my sister-in-law. The first time we met was when Jay and I attended prom together in 2007.Ā As I have three brothers, I am grateful to call her my sister!

I don’t remember where I was when I found out John was going to propose,Ā but I do remember trying to follow strict instructions on how to make a congratulatory video.

I’ve known Kristen since before I was born (she’s my favorite sister). Kelsey, Kenley, and I met John during a trip to Charlotte for Easter 2015.
(Extra Credit) I’m overjoyed that the Lord has called John and Kristen to be helpmates and to watch them grow together.

I canāt remember when exactly I learned about the proposal, but I do remember a small scream of excitement. As for K saying yes, I was home – I believe procrastinating school work – and saw that it was Facebook official! (Followed by another scream of excitement)
How did you meet the Bride/Groom?
I met Kristen in university, through a mutual friend. She was such a joy that I put that friendship on lock down by becoming roommates with her. I met John on a friends New Years/ Football Bowl trip where he quickly won over everyone.

It was my first morning in Bangkok. I rolled out of bed, admired the city skyline from my hotel room window, then opened a Facebook message from John about the proposal and screamed. Good thing I was 9,000 miles away because I wouldn’t be able to keep that secret from Kristen if I saw her.
How did you meet the Bride/Groom?
As a fellow communications professional, I met Kristen when I sat beside her at an American Marketing Association committee meeting. When I learned she had spent a few years in L.A. like me and now shared the same Charlotte neighborhood, I knew I had to lock down her eternal friendship.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I had just reached the peak of Mt. Everest when I got the call.Ā At that moment, I was more excited about the engagement than the fact that I just scaled the tallest mountain in the world.

Ā If my memory serves me right, John and I met in second grade during an intense game of kickball.Ā Been besties ever since.

I met John on a snowboard trip early in 2011 before he moved to Charlotte. The first time I met Kristen was at Tyber Creek pub through mutual Michigan State friends!
