self-caught and devoured mahi-mahi, hiked 12 miles in the Haleakala crater from the tip top of Red Hill, dined at the beachfront restaurant Mama’s Fish House in Pa’ia, survived the Road to Hana including swimming in Twin Falls, climbed into Ching’s pond, marveled at the rainbow eucalyptus trees, saw three Bears Falls turn into one big Bear Falls, toured Waianapanapa Black Sand Beach; hopped touched a cloud via powered hang glider in Hana, splashed in the waves at Hamoa Beach, cliff jumped into the Venus Pool, peered onto lavender filled fields, bathed in the healing waters of Maui at the Grand Spa, got lei’d at the Andaz and relaxed in the 4-tier cascading infinity pools, snacked on a mac-nut pie at Leoda’s Kitchen, taste tested two Maui breweries, won a cocoon on the Ka’anapali beach, explored caves, snorkeled turtle town, Ahihi-Kinau Reserve, Slaughterhouse Beach and more; engaged in all the traditions of a Polynesian Luau in Lahaina, overlooked the Nakalele blowhole and the Olivine Pools, listened to the sounds of the birds under the Banyan Tree, and indulged in macadamia nuts and coffee;
